BoMill AB is proud to share that our customer Viking Malt, one of Europe’s leading malt producers, recently received the RMI Excellence Award in conjunction with the acquisition of BoMill InSight™.

The RMI Excellence Awards, handed over during the 13th RMI Analytics Global Conference in Lisbon, are celebrating innovation and excellence across the malt industry to build a resilient supply chain for the future.

Viking Malt received the award in the category “Smart Investment”, for the acquisition of BoMill‘s grain sorting solution: BoMill InSight™ and collaboration in malting barley breeding. Both supporting security and resilience of Viking Malt’s supply chain and the sustainable use of local barley.

BoMill InSight™ grain sorting system is installed at Viking Malt’s facility in Panevėžys, Lithuania. The acquisition marks a further step for Viking Malt in strengthening collaboration across the barley supply chain and underscores the growing importance of advanced grain sorting technology in modern malting.

The BoMill InSight™ system has been successfully integrated into Viking Malt’s operations, where it has demonstrated its ability to enhance raw material quality and support smarter malt production.
