Analys

Arendal, Norway, 6 November 2026,

In October, Norse Atlantic Airways (“Norse” or “the Company”) continued to strengthen the commercial momentum with unit revenue (TRASK) up 19% year-over-year to 5.1 US cents per available seat kilometer. Consistently high load factors demonstrate strong customer demand for Norse’s long-haul product.

Eivind Roald, the CEO of Norse, comments:

"Network performance continues to strengthen with unit revenue to date in 2026 up 25% from last year. Our disciplined approach to pricing and capacity management is clearly delivering results. While fewer flights naturally impact the total passenger numbers, we carry more people on each flight at higher average ticket prices than before.

Heading into the winter season, our fleet deployment has been optimized in line with our Airline on Demand strategy, combining a focused winter network with flexible ACMI and charter operations. Alongside increased capacity to Thailand, where we see strong interest, we are successfully transitioning aircraft and crew to our new ACMI partner Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), and we continue our well-established winter charter partnership with P&O Cruises."

(October traffic figures. Comparable figures for year-ago period shown in brackets)

  • 94.9% load factor across network and ACMI/Charter operations (92.1%)
  • Total revenue per available seat kilometer in own network (TRASK) of 5.1 US cents, up 19% from 4.3 US cents from October 2025
  • 199 flights in own scheduled network (355), with more passengers per flight
  • 151 ACMI/charter flights operated (130)
  • Norse completed 100% of scheduled flights in the Month (100%)
  • 75% of flights in own network departed within 15 minutes of scheduled departure time (75%)
  • On-time performance was impacted by continued air traffic control delays, airport congestion and travel disruptions as a knock-on effect from the Middle East conflict
